At Ubuntu Helping Hands Foundation, we are committed to conducting fair and transparent raffles to support charitable causes. Due to the nature of raffles, prizes are awarded “as-is”, and ticket purchases are final. Please review the following policy to understand the terms related to refunds and returns.

1. Raffle Ticket Purchases
1.1 No Refunds on Raffle Tickets:
– All raffle ticket sales are final. Once a ticket is purchased, it cannot be refunded, exchanged, or canceled, in order to maintain fairness for all participants.

1.2 Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions:
– If you believe that a duplicate payment or erroneous transaction was processed, please contact us at sales@ubuntuhh.org.za within 7 days. We will investigate the matter and process a refund if valid.

1.3 Cancelled or Postponed Raffles:
– If a raffle draw is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified promptly. In such cases, participants can choose to:
– Transfer their entry to a future raffle; or
– Request a refund for their purchased tickets.

1.4 Prizes Awarded “As-Is”:
– All prizes are awarded as-is without any guarantees or warranties. Ubuntu Helping Hands Foundation is not liable for the condition, performance, or maintenance of any prizes once awarded to winners.
– Participants are encouraged to inspect the prize upon receipt, as no returns, exchanges, or substitutions will be offered.

2. Donations
2.1 No Refunds on Donations:
– Donations made to Ubuntu Helping Hands Foundation are considered voluntary and non-refundable. However, if a donation was made in error or an incorrect amount was processed, please contact us within 7 days, and we will assist with resolving the issue.

2.2 Unauthorized Donations:
– If you suspect that a donation was made without your consent, please contact us immediately at [Insert Contact Email] for assistance.

3. Liability and Responsibility for Prizes
3.1 Prize Transfer and Ownership:
– Once a prize is awarded and transferred to the winner, all responsibility for the prize, including maintenance, insurance, and liability, rests solely with the winner. Ubuntu Helping Hands Foundation assumes no responsibility for the upkeep or future performance of the prize.
3.2 Transfer and Administrative Costs:
– Any costs related to the transfer of ownership, such as registration fees or administrative costs, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
